As the smartphone industry prepares for the debut of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, several companies are racing to release their flagship devices powered by this cutting-edge chipset. Nokia has now stepped into the competition with its upcoming model, the Nokia Quantum Edge Pro.
Design and Display
The Nokia Quantum Edge Pro stands out with its bezel-less design and sleek silver metal body. A distinctive feature is the vertical secondary screen on the back, making the device look futuristic. The front showcases a large 6.8-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, ensuring sharp visuals and vibrant colors.
Performance and Storage
Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is designed to handle high-end performance needs. The device is expected to arrive in three different memory options: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and a premium variant offering 24GB RAM with 1TB storage. To enhance usability, the handset also supports microSD expansion up to an additional 1TB.
Camera Capabilities
Photography is another highlight of the Nokia Quantum Edge Pro. On the back, it houses a quad-lens setup featuring 200MP, 64MP, 24MP, and 12MP sensors. This configuration promises to deliver detailed shots across different conditions. For selfies and video calls, the front is equipped with a 48MP lens.
Software and Colors
The device is set to run on Android 16, providing users with the latest features and security updates. In terms of colors, Nokia plans to launch this flagship in Silver, Black, and Red variants.

Based on current reports, Nokia is likely to introduce the Quantum Edge Pro during the last quarter of 2025. More official details are expected to be shared by the company in the coming months.
